About the Author
Mac Pier is the founder of MOVEMENT.ORG. He was instrumental in creating the Movement Day conference (www.movementday.org), which has convened 40,000 leaders from 400 cities. Pier is also the Co-Catalyst for Cities with the Lausanne Movement. He earned his Master of Arts degree in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and his doctorate at Palmer Theological Seminary (formerly Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary). He is the founder and former president of Concerts of Prayer Greater New York which has served to strengthen and unite pastors and advance a culture of prayer for revival across the New York City Metro area over the past 30 years. He has authored several books, including: The Power of a City at Prayer, Consequential Leadership, A Disruptive Generosity, A Disruptive Gospel, A Disruptive God, and New York Disrupted. He and his wife, Marya, have three children and five grandchildren.
